'Mr Custard' the albino American bullfrog who lived in 'Toad Hall' at Slimbridge has died , age 10 - this is described as a ripe old age . It also states that he was believed to be one of the last American bullfrogs in the UK due to imports now being illegal . I wonder about this .
A Martin Mere newly arrived Asian short-clawed otters have 4 young , also more young European beavers have been born .
There is an article about the rescue of Madagascan pochards from wild eggs , no mention of any being moved outside of Madagascar though .
