Our species' capacity to state the obvious never ceases to amaze me. From the CBS story...

"Wildlife biologist Joe Cordaro with the National Marine Fisheries Service in Long Beach says the whale started swimming easier after the nets were removed...

If that doesn't qualify as a "Ya think?!" moment, I don't know what will.
