I haven't seen a thread on this upcoming programme so thought I'd start one - I apologise now if there has already been a discussion on it!
This one-off, hour-long programme airs this Wednesday on BBC3 at 9pm. It focusses on social media star Kyle Thomas and his efforts to create a zoo in Northern Ireland to house his own collection of exotic animals, after previously attracting negative publicity from animal rights campaigners and the media.
It sounds like it could be interesting and hopefully it will give a good, balanced view on people who keep exotics. It sounds like Kyle's heart is in the right place and if this project educates people on how hard it is to properly care for these animals, it could be a good thing. I certainly don't view him negatively just because he's found fame on TikTok - for all we know the next Gerald Durrell or John Aspinall could be lurking on social media...
