Whats the website with all the animal lists of UK ZOOS

Good evening

Ive seen mentioned on afew others thread, websites which show animals species in the uk and where they are etc.

what is this website? Is it oen of the breeding program ones?

A good website is; www.Zootierliste.de

It is a very good website and better than ISIS, and most of the time it is 100% up to scratch.

I presume you mean ZootierlisteHomepage

It gives a list of species in UK and European Zoos.

However, it technically is not an 'Official' list as it is kept up to date from mainly zoo enthusiasts, rather than the zoo's themselves.

It's a great resource and a credit to those involved. The only point I would make is that it can sometimes be a little out of date with regard to the holdings of smaller, less visited, collections so if you pland to visit especially to see some obscure species you'd be advised to double check they still hold that animal to avoid disappointment.

I'm afraid that the ISIS website has changed recently.

As the ISIS community transitions to the ZIMS application, the "species holding" information is not available for public display.
To request information about how many animals of various species are held in ISIS member institutions, e-mail news@isis.org.
Please clearly list for which species you are seeking information in your request. Please limit your requests to five species.​

I hope that normal service will be resumed when the transition is complete.
