San Diego Zoo Where can you actually see a tuatara in the US?

I think San Diego's must be about 19 years old now, so are in the early years of being reproductively active. Captive-breeding tuatara is not exactly an easy thing to accomplish though.
 
SDZ's are just near reproduction age. We hold the stud book for Fiji banded iguanas and I think really good at that breeding program. Maybe in the coming years we can do as well with breeding tautara.
