Where to see Australian Snubfin Dolphins?

Hi there, I will be visiting Australia at the end of this year or the beginning of next year, and I would love to see Australian Snubfin Dolphins (Orcaella heinsohni) there. From what I've read on the internet, the best option for that would be Roebuck Bay/Broome. Unfortunately, I will be in Australia when it is off season/rainy season in this area. As far as I could find out, Snubfin Dolphin tours aren't offered at that time.

I therefore wanted to ask whether you know of any other area or even a specific tour operator where you have good chances of spotting Snubfin Dolphins (preferably in the Northern Territory or Queensland) ?
Thank you very much!
Best,

The weather is the same across all of northern Australia, and in that regard tourism activities tend to all shut down during the wet, so tours will have stopped everywhere (not that I am aware of any other tours for this dolphin).

The Roebuck Bay population will no doubt be fairly well known to on-water operators there, so maybe one option would be to hire a day fishing charter. I did that very successfully when looking for dugongs in Moreton Bay.

Keep in mind that you will also be there in cyclone season.

BROOME SNUBFIN DOLPHIN TOURS

Just one of apparently many places that come up when you look through google for snubfin dolphin cruises. It'll be cyclone season but if it runs true to form for the last few years we havent actually had that many.

Fishing charters keep on going through the rainy season, id assume the dolphin tours would as well.
