which is the best zoo in the world

which country have the most exhibit , animal or space . and btw what is behind the animal enclosure . is it a holding area or night dens . what the diff ???
 
Just from My experience and my opinion. I would have to choose the San Diego Zoo SAfari Park for over all ( guest view ) Zoo appearance, exhibits, space, and Breeding. Though I don't know how well there behind the sences are. Pueblo Zoo for me is amazing. I don't really know if Tons of exhibits and Acres of space show how well a zoo is or if there the best. You should check it out some time. I really like how the zoo is small and historical and the animals+human interaction is the coolest thing there. but yes it is hard since I have only been to zoos in the us. Jut from my zoo experences this is what i chose.

Your title seems to indicate you are looking for a vote for one single best overall zoo. But your main text seems to indicate which country is best for zoos (which I would take to mean several good zoos within its borders). Can you specify which one you mean?
 
Myself I can not put in to this thread as I have only visited zoos in the UK so Ithink it a bit unfair to name a zoo
I will however be reading this thread so I can see what other people think and I will possibly visit the zoo galleries of the zoos mentioned more often
