White Jackdaw

Dear All

Jackdaws are often patrolling the Tsavo area at Chester Zoo. One of the flock members is pure white in colour. It is fully integrated and can grovel at the tables with the best of them.

Anyone else got native highlights that catch their attention ?

I have a few photos of that white jackdaw in my Flickr stream (link in my profile) and I know others have taken good photos too. Good to know it's still around and thriving. I often spend as much time watching native wildlife at zoos as I do watching the exhibits!

A low-flying buzzard caught my attention today; other people seemed to be more interested in the boring old red pandas.

I was torn between photographing classic Minis taking Druids sideways or a low-flying buzzard at Oulton Park on Saturday. The Minis won, but only because the buzzard disappeared into the trees! The rookery and its occupants on the outside of the circuit were very distracting too.
