Are the white tigers in zooparc de beauval pure because their website mentions that cub are sent to other zoos to breed. I apologise in advance if this has already been answered.
Thanks for answering. Does that mean they actually can't send them to other zoos to breed despite what the website says? There isn't any "pure" white tigers, all of them are heavily inbred.

That is quite interesting and informative but the website specifically says "Once they have reached adulthood, these young tigers then leave Beauval to reproduce in other zoos." It probably might just be an explanation to the general public about the tigers leaving tho.Inbred animals of many species are commonly exchanged between zoos. From takins to red river hogs, the number of founders of zoo populations are often (very) small.
Regarding white tigers: EAZA has a policy that all white tigers should be faced out of their zoos and I assume Beauval has ceased breeding them since...
