Which movie? Which scene?

Don't know the movie, haven't watched a JB for about a quarter of a century!

I think some or all of the scene may have been cut from the final film, but it was near the beginning.

From what I was told, the set-up was that our hero was being handed out his new equipment & gizmos (as happens in these films if memory serves). 'Q' says 'here's your new Jaguar', a crate is opened, but instead of the expected car we see Chiquita bound out. This may be the bit that was cut.

What survives of the cat in the film may just be an appearance, again near the beginning, possibly in the opening titles.

Sorry to be rather vague - I'd like to know for sure myself if anyone can tell me, and see a clip if one exists. Chiquita is still at the Zoo, btw.

Sean Connery is the best, with Daniel Craig in second. Those early movies (well, except for Diamonds Are Forever I guess) had the perfect balance between silliness and seriousness, and Connery was just perfectly cool.

And not to give too much away to people who haven't seen it, but Skyfall has a rather cool animal guest star. ;)

"Skyfall" has been getting many reviews that say it is one of the best Bond movies ever. I hope that is true. I look forward to seeing the mystery animal guest star.

What do people think of "On Her Majesty's Secret Service"? I think that it is one of the most poignant Bond movies, even if Lazenby is only serviceable as Bond. Diana Rigg is great as Mrs. Bond.

SPOILER ALERT: "Skyfall" has Komodo dragons! That is indeed a cool animal guest star. There is also a scorpion, species unknown.

I thought that this was the best Bond movie since the Connery movies. I think that there are now 2 definitive Bonds: Sean Connery and Daniel Craig.

Komodo dragon is not an animal I would have guessed! How do they come into it? (If their presence is a key story element then don't tell because some people reading this won't like spoilers).

Not really a spoiler. Some of the movie is set in China and there is a casino with a Komodo dragon pit as part of the decor.

the scene was cut from the final scene , but if you look closely you can clearly see a cage with a jaguar in the background while bond and q are chatting . know the scene cant recall which film .

Did anybody notice any non-human animal co-stars in "Spectre"?

An octopus serves as the symbol for Spectre and there is a stylized one used in the opening credits, but that the only non-human I remember.

What did people think of "Spectre"? I liked it. It was fun seeing Blofeld back in action and Bond back stopping him.

Update: Doh! I just remembered that an iconic feline makes an appearance. Also a cute little mouse.

I just watched Spectre. I saw two crows, a pigeon, a mouse which leads Bond to a secret room, and Blofeld's cat and gecko. Blofeld had a gecko in the original movies right?

I remember reading that Sean Connery was due to encounter a black widow spider in Dr No, until someone pointed out that the black widow spider is very small. My nomination goes for the bird-eating spider that was brought in to impersonate a bird-eating spider. Was James Bond scared of succumbing to urticaria?
