Came across this in my YouTube feed this morning - a large office building in the Melbourne CBD @ 367 Collins Street has a Peregrine Falcon sitting on a nest.

The building owners have set up a webcam and are live-streaming the feed showing a falcon sitting on the nest.

From the foyer of the building, thousands of people per year enjoy watching CCTV footage of the birds as they lay and hatch their chicks from August. Mirvac are proud sponsors of the Victorian Peregrine Project and its conservation research to improve the management of one of Victoria’s rarest birds.

Are there any other good wildlife (not zoo) webcam live streams out there people like to watch?

Two of my favourites that I look at from time to time:

1.) Woodland stream in Denmark

Highlights are Eurasian fox, Eurasian badger and what are either beech martens or pine martens, all of which are commonly seen as food is regularly placed around the stream. The martens are almost always seen in the branches of the large tree. The badgers and foxes are most likely to approach the stream from behind the bushes in the background (if watching after sunset you'll most likely see a pair of eyes reflecting back at you first). Fascinating to watch the interaction between each of the 3 different mammal species.

2.) Bird table in South Africa

Highlights after sunset are fruit bats, bush babies and genets. Highlights during the day are a myriad of birds, that I've no chance of ever identifying, and vervet monkeys, which I only saw once very briefly until the person's dog started barking at them causing them to scarper. You can scroll back through the stream until you see some of the food reappear thus giving you an indication as to when the table was visited.
