West Midland Safari and Leisure Park WMSP previous animals

anyone remember at west midland safari park they had leopard,wildebeest,wolf,flamingo,emu,black rhino and llama please tell me if i am just imagining it.
 
I think you might get a better response if you posted these questions in the UK part of the forum,under the West Mids section of the forum!!

They certainly had Amur/zoo generic leopard(s), wildebeest, wolves. Not too sure about the rest however they have held and currently do hold Indian and White rhino.
 
are you sure beacause you know before the end by the giraffe house in the stone enclosures the one after the cape buffalo had a black rhino in it before they put the ostrich in there
 
AFAIK, they never had black rhinos, but they are interested in holding them one day.
 
Where would they keep them? Surely not in the drive through?

If they ever decide to go into black rhino then I imagine they would be drive-past like the Indian rhino and Cape buffalo or use a space by the hippo's. (Maybe the Przewalski's horse field; it's visible from the drive through but could be made accessible from the foot area.)

All of this is just personal ideas and thinking aloud though. ;)
 
American Bison make a really good display wherever they are kept, as they are so impressive. Its a pity so few places in the UK keep them nowadays.

I'd second that statement, and also a pity there are also few European bison displays here too.
