Recently I had completed this photomontage of various photographs I have taken mainly within the last two years. Some of the examples shown methinks are instantly recognisable... others are a bit more obscure [to the appropriate audience, anyways].
And so for Y somehow I don't have many good yak pictures, so what I went with was Brazilian Guinea-pig as it is sometimes called 'yellow-toothed cavy' I heard from someplace.
And then later I look up 'yellow-toothed cavy' to find that the name mainly applies to a different genus of rodents, and can't find any other sources calling the Brazilian guinea pig as yellow-toothed?
Have you heard of the name being used for Brazilian Guinea Pig?
