Zoo arrivals may be boost for creditors
The administrators of a zoo in far north Queensland say the arrival of more animals may be good news for the park's creditors.
The Mareeba Wild Animal Park closed in April and placed into voluntary administration with debts of $3 million.
A group of rhinos and hippos recently arrived from the Northern Territory.
Gerry Meir from KPMG says now the park's assets have been consolidated, administrators will work towards reopening it or selling it.
