The lion quads will soon be on display. The 3 boys and one girl have explored their off exhibit yard but havent been with dad yet.

Warthogs Shirley and Vern are expecting a litter sometime this spring.

The lion cubs are now on display with mom and dad.

And Dad makes a pride!

The zoo's female bongo Matilda is expecting with her 3rd offspring. It is suppose to be born in late March or early April.

In other news giraffe Abu has been joined by three other males, Etana, Isooba and Zuberi, from Riverbanks Zoo. They are being slowly introduced to the other animals now.

Two of the male lion cubs have been named Hondo and Hatari. Their brother and sister's names will be announce Apr 11 as part of the naming contest.

Warthogs, Shirley and Vern, have welcomed a litter for 4. Two are in guarded condition the other two are fine.

Xi Lan and Po will be heading to China May 7th.

First Xi Lan and Po are leaving 5 days later now due to logistics. They were placed together briefly the other day to see how they might do with the other young bears once reaching China and they can get along even though big brother Xi Lan kind of man handled his sister. THeres a video of them.

Secondly two of the warthog piglets didnt make it. The other two are a male and female who will be named May 3 when the naming rights are sold at the Beastly Feast silent auction.

Only two of the warthog piglets survived. The brother sister pair have been named Lex and Eleanor. They have been introduced to dad and the public. Theres a cute little video of them playing too.

Okra Mae and Cocoa, the two toed sloths, are expecting a baby sometime between now and July. It will be the second baby for Okra Mae and the first for Cocoa.
