I too met Jean Delacour, and was pleased to receive praise for the condition of a waterfowl collection, at what was, at that time, the CSIRO Division of Wildlife Research. 1964?

David Attenborough. He is the GOAT because of his ability to make amazing documentaries. He also lives in my home county

Marlin Perkins, Jim Fowler, Peter Gros, Stan Brock ( Wasn't directly involved in zoo related work, but did appear on Perkin's Wild Kingdom. Plus I really admired his philanthropic efforts.), Jane Goodall, and of course Steve Irwin.
