Zoo Keys are back!

the Philadelphia zoo is bringing back these things:

So tell me, what are these keys and why are they so important?

Apparently, they are keys that you use to hear info or a story about the animal you're looking at. They were around in the 1960s and are nostalgic for a lot of people. Also, they are bringing back Lego animals in an exhibition called Creatures if Habitat.

I bought these as a child (mine was red) - but I'm sure someone else will know exactly when they were used.
