Zoo Question

Hello Zoofreaks,

Maybe I am going to visit some zoos in the UK. I'm a little bit spoiled because I live in Holland and I have seen 70 different zoos including Valencia, Hannover,Rotterdam, Arnhem and Berlin

I like to take photo's in the zoo(open enclousures, Natural barieres) and my favorites are hoofed animals. I like to see rare animals. Wich zoos meet this discription?

Marwell is good for hoofed animals and rare ones to

Best choices for ungulates are probably:

Marwell (Sable, White-tailed Gnu, Dama and Dorcas Gazelle, Gemsbok, Somali Wild Ass, Okapi...)
Highland (Bharal, Markhor, Urial, Takin, Bactrian Wapiti, Forest Reindeer, Moose...)
Edinburgh (Goral, White-lipped Deer, Musk Deer, Chevrotain, Lesser Kudu, Warty Pigs...)
Whipsnade (Nile Lechwe, Arabian Oryx, Roan, big herds of deer, onager, two species of rhino...)
Port Lympne (wildebeest, Roan, Sambar, Malayan Tapirs, stacks of Black Rhinos...)
Chester (Warty Pigs, Philippine Spotted Deer, Okapi, Roan, Gemsbok, Dik-Dik, Onager, two species of rhino...)

Actually even Colchester isn't bad, with Blue Duiker, Kirk's Dik-Dik, Lesser Malay Chevrotain, Damara Zebra among others.

Lists are from memory so probably missed some interesting things!

West Midland, Woburn and Knowsley Safari Parks are pretty good too.
