some zoos have massive turnover and some have near zero, in fact the difference may be something unrepresented in any other career.
I am terribly curious to hear your opinion as to why some zoos experience massive turnover of animal keepers while others do not.
one would believe that keepers become enamored with the creatures they care for and would like to remain caring for these animals for many years.
no one could argue that zookeepers are people that don't get paid handsomely and must be labor of love types who chose the career because they want to help and sustain the animals they care for.
some zoos are even "targeted" by advocates that look to "expose" the institutions for their practices.
if you work for a zoo or you are simply someone who visits zoos your input is something i look forward to hearing however workers, volunteers and visitors all have unique perspectives so I would be very impressed if you identified yourself as such.
with respect... Tropikal.
