Zoo support for in situ conservation

I work with an African conservation group. I was wondering how to start with trying to forge a link with a UK zoo (I'm UK based) to support in situ conservation. Obviously there are a few productive and mutually beneficial ex & in situ links but I don't know where to start.

Any advice would be greatly appreciatted.
 
Maybe you should start by contacting BIAZA (the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquaria).

They might be able to get you in touch with zoo professionals with interests that match your projects, as well as possibly telling you about other similar projects currently being supported within the UK and Irish Republic which you may not know about.
