Edinburgh Zoo Zoo upgrade ordered or sea lions will be left high and dry

Does anyone know of the situation with the Patagonian sealions and the required improvements on the enclosure?
Recently saw that a free standing metal fence has been erected on the south wall of the enclosure.

Would be interested to hear people's views on this enclosure for the current species it holds.
 
I actually thought their sealion pool was quite good I hope they breed from these.
 
i think the sea lion pools fine but hey what do i no altho was at blair dummond safari park and think there sealion outside pool is tiny for 5 of them 1 male on loan and 4 females edinburghs is 3 times the size unless you include that horrible show pool that had green algie on the side of the walls and a total rude woman running the show
