I would appreciate if you were a little more careful with your wording: 1.) We have PR Chinese readers on this forum too. 2.) If it were not for Chinese zoos there would probably be far less well protected snub-nosed monkeys in the wilds and less represented in captivity.
The Rhinopithecus complex is represented by Sichuan or golden (Sichuan further west up to Tibetan Plateau), Yunnan (Yun Ling Mountains) and Guizhou (Fanjingshan). Some zoos outside the national Capital Beijing do exhibit more than just the Sichuan / Golden-snub nosed monkeys. The Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys are exhibited in at least several other major zoos in P.R. China.
