Zoos closed 21st December 2023 owing to severe weather warning

According to Chester Zoo's website:

Important notice: Chester Zoo will be closed to visitors on Thursday 21 December.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Thursday 21 December with gusts reaching up to 70mph, so we’ve made the difficult decision to close to ensure the safety of our staff, visitors, animals and plants. If you have pre-booked zoo tickets for this date, we will be in touch as soon as possible with further information.
