Zoos in Hunan Province

I will be visiting Zhangjiajie in Hunan province in septmber and if I get time I would like to visit a zoo there around. So can somebody give me some info the Changsha Zoo ? Or even about others zoos there around?

I've never been to Hunan, but i can tell you something i know about Changsha Zoo.
The zoo is the largest in hunan, and was moved to suburb last year. Having around 70 species, the zoo is divided into 2 parts, bus visiting area (boring) and walking area. This zoo used to have a rare Yangtze giant softshell turtle, but now the turtule has been sent to Suzhou for a breeding program. And you may be interested in tufted deer, if they still have it.

Eduardo are you still in China? will you be writing at lenghth on your visit?
I do hope on your return you may get the chance to go to see kifta & imbi

I return to Brazil for just 5 days, now im in Korea and next week China again, will be back to Brazil at 3 november and some days latter will try to fly to Belo Horizonte, I can even writte the director from there for see if he will give me any news about the current situation, but I don´t believe we will get a correct answer about the situation and abouth theier future planns.
