Bit of a fun post really - dont want this to turn into a mud slinging excercise on certain zoos or individuals. Zoos that you have visited this year that you feel could improve in any way exhibits, staff keepers animals so state the collection what is wrong and how it could improve.

I could name more than a few,but seeing as I don't have any wish to give the antis any more ammunition than they already have,I will refrain from posting any collections that they might not know about yet!Because I know they watch this site just like many zoo's do to see what is being said!

I'd argue that even the very best collection has room to get even better - however, as @zoogiraffe notes this topic has the distinct potential to not end well whatsoever, so I shall leave it at that! :)

i think we ought to allow any positive discussion but as a moderator i would be quite happy for you to remove any offensive aggresive or non constructive posts

Alright, I'll play. But it won't be mud slinging but general observations on a personal level. ;)

Chester needs to get some more interesting mammal species such as marsupials, monotremes and diversify with regards to canines, small cats and other small carnivores. Would make it a very complete collection.

Dudley should utilise more of the hillside areas, also the funfair should either be removed or reduced.

BWCC should try and acquire additional land from the council and try and add some larger species. Not too much as it would lose a lot of appeal but a hyena, leopard or another hoofstock species wouldn't be pushing it much.

Ventura could just do with an expansion and would benefit from swapping out the domestics for some more exotic species.

Waddedon Manor is great as it is, not 100% to my taste but what it does is extremely well executed.

That's in for recent collections and I hope nothing I said was inflammatory. :)
