Zoo's own dvd guide

I was with an elderly gentleman earlier this evening and something as been playing on mind since (very small one)

A question he asked was when he was a young lad most zoo's had guide books or a small leaflet with information about the zoo but with todays technology have they got rid of these and do they use dvd disc's or anything on the computers instead

I would like to know if there are any zoo's out there with there own dvd guide book that is on the internet or is it just a case of it being to expensive to do

I guess apps are more technologically advanced than DVDs and cheaper too. And there are a few zoos with guide apps. I just did a Google search and apparently San Diego, point defiance and Milwaukee all do. I'm just going from the first page but there are probably a lot more.

Some do podcast tours too, including San Diego I think.
