Burgers' Zoo Burgers Zoo 2016

Hello,
does anyone know the answer?
How many species of animals (mammals, birds, reptiles, invertebrates, amphibians and fish) actually breed Burgers´ zoo?
Thank you

Due to the construction of the new Mangrove-hall, a breeding-pair of King vultures - together with their first young hatched this year - have been send to Cologne Zoo - Germany.
The female of this pair was bred 8 years ago at Chessington Zoo and the male was also bred 8 years ago at Arnhem. This year they hatched their first chick - a male - and raised it by themself.
Hopefully the pair will become also succesfull at their new home.
Don't know if there are still King vultures at Arnhem left.

There are no king vultures left at the zoo. I believe the second, older, pair was sent to Ouwehands Zoo.

The Pied Imperial pigeons have been removed from the Bush and have been send to another zoo. The species has been bred very well and there is hardly a single bird in Europe which is not releated to the Arnhem birds !
The species is now been replaced by some Chestnut-naped imperial pigeons and hopefully these will be as succesfull as the Pieds have been !
