Why should they share it until they are sure it will survive, its far better that they announce things when it is past the 28 day mark, than announcing it day 1 and then 5 days later saying sorry its died!Also the calf was born on November 16th making it almost a month old, good luck to anyone visiting if they can see this little one! Ok I agree with you there, but I'd prefer this news after a week at the least, when the large mammals are announced on the day, most of the time, I would very much like the news earlier, I mean the Tuatara as soon as that was bred Chester should have hands high, saying we've done it, not leave it till about half way through January in fairness.Why should they share it until they are sure it will survive, its far better that they announce things when it is past the 28 day mark, than announcing it day 1 and then 5 days later saying sorry its died!

It is also a female bringing the group to 1:6The zoo has announced via Facebook that a baby elephant has been born. Unsure who the mother is but judging from my last visit my money is on Sundara!
