I went chasing a vagrant Sabine's Gull yesterday, but did not have success. I did add a few birds to the year list however, including a vagrant Common Goldeneye, a bird I saw frequently in Idaho, but in central Florida is quite rare.

73 Muscovy Duck - Cairina moschata (established feral birds)
74 Lesser Scaup - Aythya affinis
75 Common Goldeneye - Bucephala clangula
76 House Finch - Haemorhous mexicanus
77 Red-breasted Merganser - Mergus serrator
78 Brown Pelican - Pelecanus occidentalis
79 Ruddy Turnstone - Arenaria interpres
80 Sanderling - Calidris alba
81 Herring Gull - Larus argentatus
82 Black Skimmer - Rynchops niger
83 Lesser Black-backed Gull - Larus fuscus
84 Northern Harrier - Circus cyaneus
85 Purple Gallinule - Porphyrio martinicus
86 Wild Turkey - Meleagris gallopavo

Picked up a couple more at work yesterday.

One new year bird today on a lunchtime stroll near work:

62. Eurasian Bullfinch - Pyrrhula pyrrhula

:)

They are a well established feral population, I just couldn't find a scientific name for a feral Duck so I put the domestic ducks scientific name.
Still not countable. They must be on an official checklist. Domestics are not countable anywhere in the world.

Just the two more from today (3/1/2017), which puts on the same amount of species as last year (despite the fact I had been out birding by this time last year*).

27. European Starling Sturnus vulgaris
28. Mallard Anas platyrhynchos

*Much of the site where I went birding was closed, which explains last years low starting figure

Just one more from today (all of the geese in York seem to be hiding from me):

29. Black-headed Gull Chroicocephalus ridibundus

Still not countable. They must be on an official checklist. Domestics are not countable anywhere in the world.

Is that with the exception of Feral Pigeons?

Yes, Feral Pigeons seem to be the one exception to that on checklists. Their population is descended from domestic birds, but in all other aspects act as wild.

False. The ABA has Domestic Muscovy Ducks in addition to Domestic Rock Pigeons on their official checklist.
