I just want to add that it's a really great weekend when you can spot two arctic sea duck species off the coast of central Florida!

Went out again today to another site. Still extremely cold, but managed a few nice species, though missed some birds of prey that I was hoping to get.

51) Rough-legged Buzzard
52) Black Woodpecker
53) Eurasian Bullfinch

An addition seen from the window of my classroom - I was paying attention, promise. :p

54) Common Starling

A bit unusual at this time of year as they don't usually show up until early March.

One more from today in my garden:

3. Field Vole Microtus agrestis

I failed to see a Pine Bunting (or at least definitely see it) earlier, which was annoying.:( I did still see one bird though (over a supermarket carpark!).

43. Grey Heron Ardea cinerea

A couple picked up from a walk up in the moors (22/1/2017):

4. Roe Deer Capreolus capreolus

44. Eurasian Nuthatch Sitta europaea
