Went today to Dierenpark Amersfoort to visit the 1 week old Asian elephant-calf Yunha but payed of course also some attention to the other animals kept at this zoo ;) !
For the European Zoochat Challenge I found 4 new species :
37) Yellow-breasted capuchin ( see Yellow-breasted capuchin | ZooChat )
38) Hamadryas baboon ( see Hamadryas baboon | ZooChat )
39) Black and white ruffed lemur
40) Senegal bushbaby ( see Senegal bushbaby | ZooChat )

As far as I know I missed 2 species which would have been new ones ( Red-bellied lemur and Crowned lemur ) but both species are kept also at other collections which are on the plan for this year.
For the Crowned lemurs I found the sign but not the animals themself, for the Red-bellied lemur I didn't even found the sign, so don't know if this species still is being kept at Amersfoort.

Yesterday I visited a Birdpark and found 2 new species for the Challenge ! At Vogelpark Avifauna - the Netherlands - a small number of primates is kept ( some lemurs and south american species ).
The 2 new species :
41) Red titi ( see Red titi | ZooChat )
42) Crowned lemur ( see Crowned lemurs | ZooChat )

63) Mongoose Lemur (Eulemur mongoz)
64) Gelada (Theropithecus gelada)

Just wanted to say that there are 4 fantastic species in that post! :)
Yes, this is definitely an improved primate collection, when you consider only the King Colobus have been there more than 2-3 years and the 3 species replaced were far less impressive: fruit bats, grivet monkey and a lone elderly Chimp.

Right I had better update this as I have added a few more since my last update
