Recent arrivals include a pair of Yellow Footed Wallaby. They are housed in a mixed exhibit with Bennetts Wallabys
 
A female African Elephant was born in May. A first breeding for the park, calf has been named Makeba
 
Apologies - the calf was born 24th March (not in May) but birth has only just been announced. Dam is Matibi and sire is Pembe
 
This year African Safari will open a 3.000 square meters enclosure for four male cheetahs.
The zoo is planning a new 5 hectares extension for asian species such as : amur tigers, takins, red pandas, indian rhinos, orangutans, gibbons, clouded leopards, binturongs...
The lands are on public ownership and will be transfer after the planning rules will have been modified by the mayor office.
 
A baby Common Eland was born to female Malawi on April 30th.

Zoo African Safari

On May 1st, twin marmosets were born. I don't know which specie so here is a photo:

Very bad news from the park : Onduri, a 19 years old angolan giraffe died suddenly.
The sad thing is, she was pregnant :(
