Apologies - the calf was born 24th March (not in May) but birth has only just been announced. Dam is Matibi and sire is Pembe

1.0 Angolan Giraffe has arrived from Lisbon

This year African Safari will open a 3.000 square meters enclosure for four male cheetahs.
The zoo is planning a new 5 hectares extension for asian species such as : amur tigers, takins, red pandas, indian rhinos, orangutans, gibbons, clouded leopards, binturongs...
The lands are on public ownership and will be transfer after the planning rules will have been modified by the mayor office.

Birth of two roan antelope males in the safari drive through and arrival of an amur tiger female called Irina, born in 2013 and coming from Sosto Zoo (Hungary). She will join Alta, the resident male.

Birth of a nyala calf november 14th and it's a girl.

Very bad news from the park : Onduri, a 19 years old angolan giraffe died suddenly.
The sad thing is, she was pregnant

Some novelties for the reopening :
- creation of a 3.800 m2 enclosure for 4 cheetah brothers,
- creation of a 580 m2 enclosure for a pair of asian small-clawed otters (female from Thoiry and male from Lyon), new species for the zoo.

The zoo welcome three births and seven lion cubs :
- Féroce gave birth during the night between 28/29 july to 2,1 cubs (Balou, Raïkaan & Malkia),
- Tika gave birth to 0,1 Naïka last august 21st,
- Shy gave birth to 3 females called Yari, Shira and Wonza the 1st of september.

Unfortunately Naïka, the only Tika's cub died at the beginning of october.
