Visited today on a rather rainy day;
-The sun bears had access to the indoor enclosure today so I assumed that the binturong were in the off-show areas.
-New signage has been added to the main tank in the Orang viewing area in the Monsoon Forest. Species listed are Chilli Rasbora (Boraras brigittae), Liquorice Gourami (Parosphromenus naygi), Amano Shrimp (Caridina multidentata), Blue Neon Rasbora (Sundadanio axelrodi), Rabbit Snail (Tylomelania sp.), Betta (Betta hendra), Pallifina Betta (Betta pallifina), Bloody Mary Shrimp (Neocardina davidi), Liquorice Gouramis (Parosphromenus linkei), Six-banded Barb (Desmopuntius hexazona) and Phoenix Rasbora (Boraras merah). Pearl Gourami are also now signed in the Batagur tank.
-The species in the new European aviary (old Condor aviary) are Rock Dove, Northern Bald Ibis, Marbled Teal, Ferruginous Duck, European Black Vulture, Azure-winged Magpie, Red-breasted Goose and Black Stork.
-The Leaf-Cutter Ant enclosure is having some work done to it, looks like they are improving the lighting.
-Signage for the Temmincks Tragopan has been removed from the Rainbow Aviaries.
-The Asian Short-clawed Otters were all in the Bornean Orangutan outdoor.
-The Smew and Red-crested Pochard are now in Wetlands nursery with a sign saying that they are waiting for them to be moved to another collection.
-The signage on the Northern Hawk Owl aviary (which held the Red-billed Blue Magpie in the past) has had the sign taken off it. I didn't see an owl in it today.
-The zoo has also added quite a lot of new signage all around the zoo notable editions being the free-flying birds in the Tropical Realm, Congo Peafowl Aviary, Amazon tank in SOTJ, Elephants and the Wetlands aviary.
-Saw both Pandemelon today
-Babirusa are again signed on the old Anoa island
