New research shows that alligators will use saltwater habitats more extensively then previously documented. Study of the diet from 500 gators shows that they eat at least three species of sharks.

That's looks like a monstrously-large alligator on the video in the article! I had a Google to see what I could find (mostly interested in his size). The following article seems the most reliable, which quotes a length of 12 feet (about 3.6 metres).
