it's a hummingbird chick, next to a coin and a biro. The image needs to be seen to appreciate the scale.

The species has already a 10+-year breeding record. Nonetheless, a very important bird breeding!

Any more meaningful statistics on what numbers (M / F / U) are held of those said 5 species (and which of these species have reproduced in what / which numbers)?

The latter over and above what esteemed poster Vision has reported on (latest update: #82 in the Birds of Paradise in Captivity) already ...

Excellent this is, I believe, the first breeding of the species in a European public collection.
