Shame to miss them, given that they're Hartmann's!Hamerton's Zebra are in a field next to the overspill carpark, easily missed if you don't need to use it.

I think you've got that mixed up with Linton Zoo?Shame to miss them, given that they're Hartmann's!
That was the 'Whipsnade Paddock', which was absorbed into Seal and Penguin Coasts. It used to hold Red Kangaroos, Axis Deer, Peafowl, and Demoiselle Cranes as well as the breeding group of Storks.

I remember that...Toronto Zoo used to have Bald Eagles in a tiny aviary right as you walk in.
Sorry about this, I was thinking Linton for some reason? Clearly says Hamerton......Shame to miss them, given that they're Hartmann's!
Jersey's a bit like that, can see Andean Bears from the road outside, also Hamerkops and Pied Tamarins from the car park. There are some zoos whose first animals can be seen even from outside of the zoo. I remember American black bear at Berlin, wallabies at Jardin des Plantes in Paris, and onagers at Köln zoo. Also greater rheas in London Zoo, although not so close to the zoo entry.
