Noted - I thought they only had striated.
What's the best way to see the Jackal, I've not seen it in many a visit?
What's the best way to see the Jackal, I've not seen it in many a visit?
Not seen Cassowary or Raccoon for ages either so wouldn't take it personally.
Over the few years I've been going, I've only seen the Jackals a couple of time and they were in recent months. All I can say is those sightings were before midday, whereas I nearly always visited in the afternoons before. What's the best way to see the Jackal, I've not seen it in many a visit?

Good spot Zia, consider yourself deputised.
Any clarification Dorminator?![]()

Another question I'm afraid! ZTL lists the zoo as holding Fischer's Lovebirds, but the Lovebirds are just labelled as Lovebirds.Do they count or not please ? Not a major issue either way though.
Let's assume ZTL is right and they're Fischer's unless anyone knows to the contrary.
I can do that for you nowHowever.....
Since when has that been the case?![]()
