Here is a list of species I have seen at London Zoo since 1965 and would like to see again. They are in no particular order.
1. Hoolock gibbon
2 Barton's echidna
3 Plumbeous redstart (if it were as friendly as the hand-reared one kept at London Zoo)
4 Nduk eagle owl (the only one in captivity at the time)
5 Hog badger
6 Campbell's guenon
7 Chacma baboon
8 Timor deer
9 Allen's bushbaby
10 Short-tailed opossum
11 Four-eyed opossum (Not listed in ZTL)
12 Rufous spiny bandicoot
13 Asian house shrew
14 Bare-throated bell bird ( a very distinctive sound in the Bird House)

I also liked seeing Professor Wu the Chinese giant salamander and seeing markhors and Douc langurs for the first time and I regret not visiting the zoo when it had a Haitian solenodon in 1967.

I remember when Chester Zoo had several unusual South American cats, including the jaguarundi and pampas cat.

Philadelphia Zoo:
African Elephant
Polar Bear
Prairie Dog
African Wild Dog
Echidna
Striped Skunk
Okapi
Bornean Bearded Pig
Spectacled Langur
Chimpanzee

I liked seeing the Jentink's duiker and saiga at Berlin Tierpark, various sakis and uakaris at Cologne and both species of rockfowl at Frankfurt.
