This is an attempt to list every species on exhibit at the Oklahoma Aquarium in Jenks, Oklahoma during my visit on 5-31-18. I am including species for which there is a sign on each exhibit, and using the named zones on the map going in a roughly clockwise direction from the aquarium entrance. This list may be of more interest to those already familiar with the aquarium since I am not arranging the species by animal type. I will post each zone separately for clarity.

What did you think of the Oklahoma Aquarium? Do the bull sharks make the aquarium a must-see destination for zoo nerds?

I should have learned by now to provide a few comments of my opinion for you, my friend! I'm so focused on providing a dry factual rundown of the collections I visit that I have to be coaxed to emote. The quality of the aquarium is generally fine, and the upkeep is evident, but not very exciting in comparison to some of the other facilities I have visited. Most remarkable was the collection of invertebrates, many highlighted in their own small tanks to good effect. One of the phrases of wall text as you enter the tunnel of Shark Adventure states 'prepare to walk through the largest collection of bull sharks in the US'; it was satisfying to see them (there are 10) but slightly odd to see a shark exhibit with no other fish as that has become less common. I wouldn't say that it is a must-see though. The newer large exhibit, Sea Turtle Island, is disappointing as it only has one loggerhead. One section of the aquarium was closed as it is being renovated and will open soon as South Pacific Reef (map), or Polynesian Reef (website).
