Pairi Daiza Pairi Daiza News 2018

A bit of news from Pairi Daiza's facebook page: they'll be completely renovating/improving a few enclosures (fur seals, bison, Javan leopard, snow leopard, Tasmanian devils, part of the elephant house).
The fur seal area will also house a group of little penguins, and the enclosure formerly inhabited by the female pair of African + Asian circus elephants will house a number of gaur. Exciting stuff!

In addition they received several species of Toucanet/Arassari, including Curl-crested arassari, which will be on show next year in the Oasis.

Indeed! Hadn't realized that hadn't been posted here yet. The other species are Chestnut-eared aracari, Ivory-billed aracari, and Green aracari. (the post mentioned chestnut-eared, curl-crested, ivory-billed and lettered in the text, but had pictures of chestnut-eared, curl-crested, ivory-billed and green... So I presume someone either got the wrong information or the bird was misidentified)

No, sofar Pairi Daiza provided very little information about the arrival - even the number of animals is not given....

Has Pairi Daiza confirmed they are grizzlies anywhere? As I understood, they had hoped to bring grizzlies or Kodiak's in as part of the La Terre du Froid development. But this plan had been foiled. I am not convinced by the individual in the clip linked above that these are actually horribilis. Can anyone confirm?

In their facebook post they initially specifically stated they are American brown bears, but the American part has been removed and in one of the Belgian newspapers it is stated they come from Scandinavia, making it European brown bears.

To be specific, they have received two batches of four siblings: one consisting of four non-sub (or unidentified) brothers from Kolmarden and one consisting of 2.2 European from Skansen
