82 S. American Fur Seal - Arctocephalus australis

No idea where the next one will come from, not a lot left in the UK to get, places I haven't been to this year where I might add a few are either closed (Axe Valley), unsuitable (Port Lympne), or too far away (Exmoor, Shaldon) for me to visit in December!

Definitely last one for the year

Can all the Australian members just combine there posts and win so we can chose marsupials for next year?

In complete honesty next year was going to be marsupials but I've had to change it for reasons I won't go into.. (and no it has nothing to do with me potentially going to Australia at some point, I wouldn't do that)

Overall, though I didn't even go over 50, I still did better than I thought I would.

Now, amphibians and island endemics will be harder...

Alright well barring any very last minute submissions, it looks as though the year is finished! I want to thank everyone for another successful year and I hope to see many of you back again next year. Congratulations to myself (odd thing to say), @ShonenJake13, @TeaLovingDave, @FunkyGibbon, @Dormitator, @pipaluk, @MagpieGoose, @lintworm, @vogelcommando, and of course @Giant Eland for rounding out our top Top 10. I had a lot of fun this year and it certainly was a super competitive one, here's to an even more competitive 2019.

~Thylo

Not so fast! I still have to visit SeaWorld San Diego today, which will gove me a few more carnivores.

EDIT: Next year's category is amphibians and island endemics? Well, I guess visiting the San Diego Zoo will help me.
