Online Zoo Animal Databases

@alexkant the new design of your website looks very good, a wonderful website

everybody who hasn't checked out zooinstitutes.com yet, I highly recommend to do so since it is one of kind

thumbs up

I would concur with this praise. The old version of @alexkant 's website received some high price love; the new version is even better. It's a very clean design, and the content is top notch.

The only thing that could make it even better is if one could click the year (if an institutions was visited more than one time) to see when which species was taken a picture of and if the collection and exhibits have changed over the years

This ia litterualy the only thing, which may make the site perfect, if it is not allready

Globalspecies doesn't seem to exist anymore, you might want to remove that one.

That's a huge shame and must be a recent change, I was on the site just the other week. Seems globalspecies.org takes you to some guy's blog now.

GlobalSpecies is back up for me it seems, it was down earlier this week (as a couple users have noted) so I’m surprised the link worked.

On the home page (that blog-site) the link for the zoo lists is on the left ("globalspecies").

That's really bizarre because that link works, but when I type globalspecies.org/zooinsts in, it gives me a "404 Not Found" page.
Good, I'll replace the link in the original post with the new link. I tried it without the http and I got the same result as you (a 404 error). The reason the old link doesn't work is that the www has been replaced with http alone. I'm not sure why that matters because it should still redirect automatically I think, even without the www, but that's the only difference in the address. Interestingly, if you just put in globalspecies.org it does take you to that home page, even though the address of that home page is actually https:// brucemyers. com

It's a new link. The old link no longer works because he has reorganised his website.

A superb site. What are your plans for 2018?
Probably I missed your message one year ago ))) So, as you can see I added a lot of new functionalites on my website: statistics, rating, videos, taxonomy. I still have a list of 11 new zoos to be added very soon. Hope to visit some interesting zoos in 2019.I am planing also to write an year for every animal picture, so visitors could better understand which picture is historical and which one is current.(for zoos with a several visits). And yes, now you could "like" animals and zoos and see this rating on main page!

I look at your website just about every day now. Do you have a video of the Northern white rhino?
