Saint Louis Zoo Saint Louis Zoo News 2019

hopefully the Department of Revenue will relent and make it a going forward issue rather than retroactive

Does anyone know why the chain of lakes past the sea lion exhibit have been filled in? Is something else going in there or are they just going to leave it as green space?

What exhibit are you talking about? Lakeside Crossing? Or where the Starbucks went in?

he's talking about the space between the Bird House
and the Reptile and Primate house on the other.

I think they intend it as green space. Used to be nice waterfowl exhibits
and river otter.

Those weren't there this summer. Lakeside Crossing still has a nice waterfowl collection.

From November 20th to January 30th, 11 calves/foals have been born to six species of hoofstock, including: three Speke's gazelles, one Soemmerring's gazelle, two addax, two lesser kudu, two lowland nyala, and one Grévy's zebra. The zebra foal is already on exhibit with its mother, weather permitting.
