Does anyone know if it's possible to get behind the scenes in Poznan? According to zootierliste, the African palm civet (Nandinia binotata) is currently kept offshow...
However, seems like someone was able to view it there in june this year.
Any tips? Who to contact? PM me if you can help, thanks!

Saw my first Nubian a little over a week ago at Magdeburg - you can't miss them there!
The ZTL information came from @ShonenJake13 and @ThylacineAlive when they visited back in Sept 2018
at the time the species was not listed for the collection, and as such they were quite surprised to see it on-display at Poznan - but were unsure about what subspecies it represented as it looked a little "wrong" to them, so they sent photographs to me for feedback. I agreed it did not look right for pure euptilura and was much more likely to represent an impure animal, and made the relevant edits to ZTL.Thylo subsequently posted the following photograph of the individual in question to the gallery:
As can be seen, it looks very different to the usual phenotype for the subspecies in question:
An impure one at that.
I think the zoo once had pure Amur Leopard Cat but they don't anymore unfortunately. I was bummed out about it as they would have been a lifer for me, but fortunately I discovered that Jihlava had gone into the species before my arrival!

Achh! So I understand everything now!
This cat on the photograph is probably the one confiscated (and may be a hybrid like confiscated tigers). If I read zoo's statements correctly he was never consider as a pure, only "a leopard cat".
The one who came from Czech Republic, 'Czesio', looks sturdily more like 'euptilura'. Photos of this cat are on a Zoo Poznań Official Site's fanpage, so I shyly invite to discussion about

According to history of Amur leopard cats - yes, Poznań bred this subspecies. I saw the last female in 2016, very old. I don't know how long she has lived here after '16.

Yes the male I saw and photographed was confiscated. The zoo had no other leopard cats of any kind during my visit.

Yeah, having sought out the photos of which you speak, this is indeed a true euptilura.
