Naples Aquarium, opened in 1874, closed in 2015-but maybe it will be reopend somedays....

Blackpool Tower Aquarium, opened in 1875, closed 2010.

But as I mentioned above, both were not"first in the chain". But they were the two oldest aquariums closed recently.

Next in line is the Washington Aquarium, opened in 1878, closed in 2013.
