That being if they are does this explain why the new arrivals tiger, rhino are coming in breeding pairs not your normal for twycross all male / female groups ? Or does anybody else think this is a personal shift by the zoo
The only single sex groups I can think of at Twycross are Giraffe, Nyala and formerly the Elephants. Not sure on the Zebra. But all the primates, the leopards etc are not single sex so I wouldn't read anything much in to whether breeding pairs or single sex of other new species are obtained. Its a choice made individually species by species.
