I know this list is kind of unnecessary, because the Sacramento Zoo's website already gives a basically complete list of species there, but because of the San Francisco Zoo Complete Species List coming in April (Sooner than I had Thought) and the Woodland Park Zoo Complete Species List coming in August (Also sooner than I had thought) I figured that I might as well make this list. For the organization of the exhibits on this list, I will be naming the areas based on what I think they should be called, and what the zoo calls them. Anyway, on with the list.
(The Jaguar exhibit's water features have been renovated and the old King Vulture aviary has been demolished.)

THE AMERICAS (Rare feline center, Waterfowl Lagoons, and Parrots.)

North America
  • Large Wire Aviary: Thick Billed Parrot, Greater Roadrunner
Rare Feline Center & Nearby Exhibits
  • Medium Sized Wire Enclosure: White Faced Saki, Southern Two Toed Sloth
  • Small Wire Enclosure: Plain Colored Amazon
  • Large Netted Enclosure: Empty (Normally holds Jaguars)
  • 3 Connected Enclosures: White Nosed Coatimundi
Waterfowl Lagoons
  • Lagoon #1: American White Pelican, Southern Crested Screamer, American Wood Duck, Fulvous Whistling Duck, Northern Shoveler, Wild Waterfowl
  • Lagoon #2: Caribbean Flamingo, African Comb Duck, White Faced Whistling Duck, Wild Waterfowl
(There were no signs up for any of the duck species, so I just had to take a photo of any duck that I saw.)

(Just a little side note, at this Koi pond, there is a sign put up by the keepers that read: Help us keep our fish healthy. Please do not toss coins into the pond. And in the pond were at least 50 coins, with most of them being the zoo's "quarters for conservation")

REPTILE HOUSE AND ANIMAL AMBASSADORS

Reptile House
  • Really sorry about this, but after looking through my photos of the reptile house, I realized that some of the pictures were blurry, or too dark to read the signage. Since I live in the area, I will be sure to head back with a notebook to write down the names of the reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates that were present. In the meantime, I will describe the species that I can read the signs of.
  • Puerto Rican Boa, Amazon Milk Frog, Henkel's Leaf Tailed Gecko, Sambava Tomato Frog, Standing's Day Gecko, Madagascar Flat Tailed Tortoise, Madagascar Giant Day Gecko, Green Mantella, Golden Mantella, Madagascar Spider Tortoise, Smooth Fronted Caiman, Prehensile Tailed Skink, Blue Dart Frog, Yellow Banded Dart Frog, Green Crested Basilisk, Aquatic Caecilian, Whip Scorpion, Phantasmal Dart Frog, Green and Black Dart Frog, Curlyhair Tarantula, Smoky Jungle Frog, Montagua Spiny Tailed Iguana, Western Pond Turtle, Ball Python, Chinese Crocodile Lizard (Coming Soon), Green Tree Python, White's Tree Frog, Fiji Island Banded Iguana, Tokay Gecko, Chinese Three Striped Box Turtle, European Legless Lizard, Rhinoceros Iguana, Northern Pacific Rattlesnake, Common Chuckwalla, Giant Garter Snake, Sidewinder, Pacific Gopher Snake, California Tiger Salamander, California Newt

If you're ever in the area you should definitely check it out. It may be small but it's a nice little zoo.

No signs for the ducks has been typical and somewhat frustrating. They still should hold Orinoco Goose, do they not?

Very possibly gone... The species may not return, I know the birds they had were very old and availability of the species is low to my understanding.

I did not see any Orinoco Geese upon my visit, but there is quite a lot of dense foliage surrounding the lake, so there is a good chance that they were there, just not visible.
