Does anyone know the current status of Milky and Painted storks in Singapore. From what I have read they seem to be descendants of introduced birds from the zoo, but they are quite common. I did not count them now, but do others count them?

I don't, but others do. Apparently both species are established and breeding. I don't count them though, because how do you know which are wild ones and which are free-range? Similarly I don't count them in Malaysia either because of the huge "wild" population at Zoo Negara.

That means that I haven't got Milky Stork on my life list but that's fine, I'll see them one day. My Painted Storks are all from India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Cambodia.

Invertebrates:

9. Downy emerald (Cordulia aenea)
