Anyone heard whats up with the snow leopards? They had 3, dairiga should be about the age to leave mother. We have been only seeing one at a time the last several times we went.

The Promedicia Museum of Natural History reopens on May 31st, after a $27 million overhaul of a WPA, 1930s-era building. It seems that Toledo Zoo has done what they did with their superb modernization of the Aquarium...a complete revamp of the interior but a terrific preservation job of the exterior facade. From the latest information on the zoo's website, it appears that the building will now be part Museum, part Reptile House and part Insect House. It sounds like a winning combination to me and I'm eager to see photos in the ZooChat gallery. Who will be the first 'zoo nerd' in attendance?

The last time I was there. I noticed a exhibit that looked empty that had a sign for a couple of gorillas do they have 2 troops or is it just one and the extra exhibit is for a lone Male orangutan.
