Why Singapore zoo is alway acclaimed or ranked one of the best zoo in the world or asia

Why is it that Singapore zoo are knowned as and consider one of the best zoo in the world ???

Is it of the “open concept “zoo?

But isn't that the concept of Carl hagenbeck of tierpark hagenbeck

And David hancock


I believe most modern zoo now have moats exhibit and glass fronted enclosure.

No doubt Singapore is a very good zoo but such rankings are often as much about the success of their PR as anything else.

There is a saying “comparisons are odious”. Better to say there are a bunch of zoos out there that are top rate and all have their positives and negatives.

Well two main factors
1) Tropical -yet very mild climate Average high all year long between 87-91 degrees F
and average low 76-79 F.
2) Affluent country to capitalize on that huge advantage.

and then don't discount the PR angle
